Fiesta
Holidays in Peru are filled with faith, masks, magic, and dance. Small towns step away from their quiet daily routines to form dance troupes that bring to life characters from the collective imagination. Streets and plazas overflow with masks, music, and crowds of people. By wearing these masks, participants receive the “gift” of becoming a different character throughout the festivities.
