Fiesta
Las fiestas de Perú están plagadas de religión, máscaras, magia y danza. Los pequeños pueblos dejan su apacible vida cotidiana para formar grupos de danzantes que representan a personajes del imaginario colectivo. Las calles y plazas se llenan de seres enmascarados, música y mucha gente. Las máscaras les dan a sus habitantes el "don" de transformarse en su propio "personaje" e interpretar su papel durante todos días de fiesta. //
The holidays in Peru are full of religion, masks, magic and dance. Small towns leave their peaceful everyday life to form groups of dancers, representing characters from the collective imagination. The streets and squares are filled with masks, music and lots of people. The masks give their people the "gift" of becoming a "character" during all holidays.
